Finding Time to Work These Films....

Well.....

It's been almost 3 weeks since I've written a blog. I can't believe it's been that long.

I've been working this new day job going on 3 months now. It's amazing; but when you're working a full time job, it's hard to find time to do much else. And it doesn't help that I'm getting older in years. I don't have the energy I had when I was 20. Or 30. I'm in my 40's, and before I blink my eyes, I'll be 50. I need to find time to get things done.

Wish I could have been at Slamdance and Sundance this week; we had 3 shorts playing online the entire 10 days of the festival with Slamdance; but I couldn't afford the trip. And I couldn't afford to fuck up this new job after these first few months. With times being as tough as they are, with my luck, I'd get back from Park City and not have a job; and be stuck out at the shacks, unemployed, wondering how to make ends meet. It's for the best I didn't go to Park City; but I wish I could have been there to work the town.

But life goes on: today, we announced our online distribution of THE X-RATED GRANDMA; I'm finally writing a blog; I'm visiting a couple of our online social websites; seen THE WRESTLER yesterday ( a fucking great film); getting 30 mailings together for festivals of 4 different shorts; and more. With my days off, I can't relax. It's the only time I have to work these film projects.

I'm glad I just have myself to worry about.

And another day passes as an independent filmmaker....life goes on....
